Beginning/Intermediate Plein Air in Oil
An Introduction and Beyond. First timers welcome!
A challenge for many painters is learning how to edit or how to simplify the landscape into a few basic shapes and values. Students will learn how to express the essence of a scene by editing the details into simple abstract shapes and using bold brush strokes to build their landscapes. They will beusing a limited color palette to build a pleasing landscape and will leave with several small studies of the area around beautiful Cannon Beach.
