The Trail Band – An Overview
Holidays with The Trail Band’ will be presented for their 25th and final time. Their long running popular Christmas concert series was created in 1994 by Marv & Rindy Ross of Quarterflash, and over the course of hundreds of shows, The Trail Band recorded 13 CDs, produced an OPB television special, and raised millions of dollars for schools, arts organizations, and beneficiaries like Friends of the Children. Ticket info is coming soon.
“It was a difficult decision to make considering the ongoing popularity of the shows, but Rindy and I have been producing concerts of Quarterflash and The Trail Band for over 40 years and it was time to move on to another chapter of our lives.” The Rosses will retire both Quarterflash and The Trail Band at the end of the year.
For their final tour The Trail Band will be performing their audience's favorite holiday classics featuring over 25 musical instruments and 5 lead singers. "We're going to wrap up this wonderful annual show by pulling out all the stops," said Rindy Ross.
Marv Ross adds, “It’s going to be an emotional run. None of us could have imagined that this concert series was going to last 25 years. Doing these shows to benefit such amazing organizations like Friends of the Children, and having sold out shows year after year has been a incredible blessing for all of us. We will miss it greatly. It has become a huge part of our lives during the holiday season and has become a family tradition for hundreds of Oregon families. We intend to make this last run of shows something very special for our loyal fans.”
