Fifteen local artisans and craftspeople worked together in 1989 to put the finishing touches on a distinctive one-story structure known for its slate tile floor lobby, peaked ceilings, massive beach stone fireplace, bronze castings, stained glass windows, and whimsical artistic appointments throughout.
Built to serve as a multipurpose gathering spot, the popular Community Hall is located in the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce building (2nd and Spruce) and is available for rent for weddings, parties, reunions and meetings.
Full details plus rental applications are available from CBC staff. Use of a large outside deck, full kitchen facilities as well as event equipment (tables, chairs) is included with the rental rate.
Many youth groups and summer camps plus classes (yoga, tai-chi, dance, painting) also use the 30’ x 34’ facility.
