The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum invites the public to a special evening of music, history, and coastal conservation on Friday, June 28 at 4:00 p.m., featuring a live performance by the acclaimed jazz duo BELEZA! – guitarist John Stowell and flugelhornist Dmitri Matheny. Known for their smooth blend of Brazilian-inspired rhythms and melodic improvisation, Stowell and Matheny promise an unforgettable performance in the warm, intimate setting of the museum.

This exciting event also marks the opening of the Haystack Rock Awareness Program’s 40th Anniversary Exhibit, celebrating four decades of community-led education, protection, and stewardship of Cannon Beach’s most iconic landmark.

Sliding scale tickets begin at just $5, with options to give more in support of the museum’s free lecture series, exhibits, and ongoing community programming. Seating is limited, and advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets are available at www.cbhistory.org or by visiting the museum in person.

“We’re thrilled to pair world-class jazz with a milestone celebration of local conservation,” said Liz Scott, Executive Director. “This event reflects the heart of what we do—honoring community, culture, and the natural beauty that surrounds us. We hope you’ll join us for this very special evening.”

The concert and exhibit opening will take place at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum, located at 1387 S. Spruce Street in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Refreshments will be provided.
