The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is excited to present Capturing the Coast: A Collective Photography Exhibit, on display from July 10 through September 30, 2026.

This collaborative summer exhibit will feature the work of more than 20 photographers from both within and outside the local community, showcasing the beauty, atmosphere, and unique perspectives of the Oregon Coast through photography. From dramatic coastal landscapes and wildlife to quiet moments and everyday scenes, the exhibit celebrates the many ways artists interpret and connect with the coast.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, July 10 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the museum. Guests are invited to meet participating photographers, enjoy refreshments, and explore the exhibit during this special community event. Several pieces featured in the exhibit will also be available for purchase.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response from photographers and are excited to provide an opportunity for both amateur and experienced photographers to showcase their work in a unique museum setting,” said Liz Scott, Executive Director of the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. “This exhibit highlights not only the beauty of the Oregon Coast, but also the creativity and perspectives of the individuals behind the camera.”

Capturing the Coast will remain on display through September 30, 2026 during regular museum hours.

The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is located at 1387 South Spruce Street in Cannon Beach and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is donation based.
