Jane Kirkpatrick will be at the library on Friday, May 8th at 5:30 p.m. to discuss With the Enduring Tides, the newest novel in her popular Women of Cannon Beach historical fiction series (following Across the Crying Sands). This is the first release of her new book, and copies will be available for sale and signing.
Inspired by a true Cannon Beach story, this heartwarming series introduces readers to unforgettable characters shaped by courage, community, and the rugged beauty of the early 1900s Pacific Northwest. Jane will talk about the series, her writing process, and what comes next.

Jane Kirkpatrick is a New York Times best-selling and award-winning author of more than 40 books and numerous essays. She is known for her richly researched storytelling and deep attention to the lives of women often overlooked by history. She lives in Oregon, where she continues to explore the intersection of history and storytelling through novels, essays, podcasts, and speaking engagements.
Kirkpatrick received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times in 2012, the Caldera Achievement Award from The Nature of Words in 2006, and the Distinguished Northwest Writer Award in 2005 from the Willamette Writers Association. Her works have sold over two million copies and have earned prestigious literary honors such as the Wrangler (National Cowboy Museum), WILLA Literary (Women Writing the West), Will Rogers Medallion (Will Rogers Foundation), and the Carol (American Christian Fiction Writers).
