Two of old Hollywood’s biggest divas will descend upon the Coaster Theatre Playhouse stage on March 24 in Suite Surrender.

It’s 1942 at the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel and everything is ready for the wartime performance of Hollywood’s biggest divas. Everything seems to be in order…that is, until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the ’30s and ’40s.

Suite Surrender opens March 24 and runs weekends through April 22. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays with a matinee show at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16.

Tickets are $20 or $25; they can be purchased at the theatre box office (503-436-1242) or online. The box office is open 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 12:30 p.m. to curtain on performance days.
