The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum will host the Wildlife Center of the North Coast (WCNC) for a special educational program on Friday, April 17 at 1:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited.
During this engaging program, attendees will learn about the vital work of the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education center serving the central and northern Oregon Coast. WCNC provides professional medical care to more than 1,000 injured, sick, and orphaned native animals each year, including seabirds, raptors, songbirds, waterfowl, and mammals.
The program will also feature Cormie, the Center’s resident double-crested cormorant and wildlife ambassador, offering a unique opportunity to learn more about coastal wildlife and the challenges they face.
The Center specializes in seabird rehabilitation and is dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship and helping communities better understand how to live in harmony with local wildlife.
The program will take place at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum, located at 1387 South Spruce Street in Cannon Beach.
This program is part of Cannon Beach’s 12 Days of Earth Day celebration, a community-wide event running April 11–22, 2026. For a full schedule of events, visit:
