Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival

Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival offers a series of exclusive small group wine and culinary experiences throughout October.

In 2021, Savor Cannon Beach presents a month-long series of festival events in October including premium pre-dinner wine tasting experiences, wine and art events in the galleries and a weekly series of fun and educational wine tastings. Several of these exclusive tastings include some amazing wines that did not get used at several past years of the festival, so we are breaking them out to celebrate! You'll have the opportunity to taste a flight of 10-year-old reds, some of the best Oregon Pinot Noirs from the past few years and some of the top award winners from the 2021 Savor Northwest Wine Awards held earlier in the year in Cannon Beach.

Some of the highlights of the festival include:

The Pinot Noir Challenge is among a series of pre-dinner wine experiences at Bistro restaurant. This event is a blind tasting of six Pinots including two Oregon wines that have been selected among Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year. You’ll also taste a French Burgundy and a Pinot Noir from Oregon that retails for under $20. You’ll be challenged to guess which is which.

Saturday Wine & Art Events will include a series of exclusive tastings in the galleries including a six-wine horizontal of 11-year-old, site specific Pinot Noirs from one of Oregon's most celebrated winemakers, the late Patricia Green. These pre-dinner experiences include a gallery tour where you’ll be introduced to the work of some of the most popular artists represented by Cannon Beach galleries.

Wines You Love to Hate & Why You Should Get Over It is a fun and educational tasting of exceptional wines that represent five of the most misunderstood wines and varietals.

Seafood Wines & Small Plates is a light dinner including wine pairings from Oregon wine pioneer Sokol-Blosser with food by chef/owner Doug Brown from Seasons Café.

We're leaving most of the culinary offerings to the restaurants who have had one crazy year, so we encourage you to support them as they offer special dinners, fall menu items, wine and beer tastings; and other special culinary events. Other local businesses participate in the festival with their own events too!
