Northwest Women's Surf Camp's mission is to bring to the North Coast of Oregon unique opportunities for women, men, couples, and kids of all ages, to learn how to surf and stand-up paddleboard in a supportive, progressive learning environment. Their dynamic instruction in various event and lesson programs shares with students the 12 essential skills required to pursue surfing safely and with a sense of personal empowerment. Students also discover how to survey their level’s beach and wave conditions using the "Recipe for a Perfect Wave.” Understanding how the tides influence their surf session's success and how to avoid and exit from a riptide are also shared.
