The three-day festival weekend opens on Friday with artists creating works throughout the town, on the beach and in nearby settings. Artists continue to work outdoors on Saturday and children can join in the fun with activities just for them. Visitors can enjoy live music, then stroll down to the beach at Whale Park at sunset and watch the dramatic Raku firing process as husband and wife team Dave and Boni Deal reveal the wonders of this ceramic art form. Opportunities to meet and mingle with the artists at the individual gallery receptions and watch their works progress will happen throughout the weekend.
