This gentle yoga class is not your Nana's class, but is an option for folk who don't want to get up and down off the ground. The first half of class is a full-body warm-up and stretch that is practiced seated in a chair. The second half is an adapted Flow or Sun Salutation practice that uses the chair as a prop to step from the front of the mat to the back of the mat, or the other way around. The practice is designed to build strength and flexibility and improve circulation through movement that is linked with the breath. Recommended for beginners, those new to yoga or those nursing an injury or illness. Drop-in for $25. Mats, props & chair are provided.
