2026 Festival Highlights
Kickoff Party & Sunset Beach Ride
Launch your weekend Friday evening with a festive welcome party and social mixer at Public Coast Brewing Co. Connect with fellow riders, soak up the energy, and gear up for the adventures ahead! Afterward, hit the sand for a breathtaking sunset ride along Ecola Creek and past the legendary Haystack Rock. It's the perfect way to kick off what promises to be an amazing weekend.

Epic Beach Ride to Hug Point
Join us Saturday afternoon for a guided 13 mile ride along the sandy shores to Hug Point. Timed perfectly with the 4pm low tide, you'll cruise past Haystack Rock and along the historic "Oregon Beach Highway," ending at the breathtaking waterfall at Hug Point.

Fat Bike Adventure Tour
New for 2026! Experience Cannon Beach like never before with our updated Choose Your Own Adventure quest. Select from themed adventure paths that showcase the best of our local businesses and hidden gems around town. You can start the journey on Friday and have until 4pm on Saturday to complete.

Treat Yourself Tour 🍦🛍️
Indulge in desserts, browse unique boutiques, and find the perfect gifts while cruising through town.
Complete one path or mix and match for maximum adventure! You'll have two days to visit participating locations, save your receipts, and track your progress. Each path offers its own prizes, plus compete for the overall grand prize as you explore everything Cannon Beach has to offer on two (or three!) wheels.

New This Year! Brewery Tour at Public Coast Brewing Saturday, May 16 @ 2:00 pm
Go behind the scenes at one of the coast's most celebrated breweries! Join us for an exclusive tour where you'll meet the team, discover how Public Coast crafts their award winning beers, and get an insider's look at the brewing process. Sample select offerings (including root beer for our under 21 and NA guests) and learn what makes this coastal brewery so special.
Space is extremely limited to just 20 people, so sign up early to secure your spot for this unique experience!
Beach Party
After the Hug Point ride, head straight to Tolovana Beach for our lively celebration! Join fellow riders for an afternoon packed with fun fat bike games including giant Jenga, bike polo, fast races, slow races, and the ever hysterical bike limbo! Sample local brews and sparkling non-alcoholic beverages from Pelican Brewing Co., enjoy snacks, and share stories with your fellow adventurers. It's the perfect way to celebrate a day of riding and good times on the beach.

Come for the rides, stay for the fun, and experience the magic of Cannon Beach on two wheels!

5:00 - 6:00 pm | Packet pick up & social gathering @ Public Coast Brewing Co., 264 E 3rd St, Cannon Beach, OR 97110
6:30 - 7:30 pm | Fat Bike Sunset Ride - Depart from Public Coast Brewing Co. for a sunset beach ride along Ecola Creek and past Haystack Rock to kick off the weekend.
Saturday, May 16, 2026
All Day | Fat Bike Adventure Tour - New for 2026! Choose your own adventure with themed paths through Cannon Beach. Select from the Foodie Quest, Art & Soul Ride, or Treat Yourself Tour (or tackle them all!). You'll have all day Saturday until 3 pm to visit participating locations, save your receipts, and track your progress. Each path offers its own prizes, plus compete for the overall grand prize.

Sample local brews and sparkling non-alcoholic beverages from Pelican Brewing Co., enjoy snacks, and share stories with fellow adventurers. Prizes for "The Fat Bike Adventure Tour" will be handed out at the beach party.

New Optional Add-On Experience
4:00 pm | Sunday Sips & Stroll – Not quite ready for the weekend to end? Join Elliott & Daniella for a relaxed adults only afternoon exploring some of our favorite local spots as Cannon Beach settles into its quieter Sunday evening vibe. This fun and casual mini tour is the perfect way to wind down after an amazing weekend of riding, connect with new friends, and discover a few hidden gems along
the way.
We will meet at The Wine Shack at 4 PM (124 N Hemlock St.), where they will be offering an exclusive “Fat Bike Flight” just for our group. The $15 tasting includes three wines featuring a
local red, white, and sparkling option, along with their bougie bite snack mix. Bonus: the cost of the flight is waived with the purchase of two bottles of wine. The shop features an excellent
selection of Pacific Northwest wines, including Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, bold reds from Walla Walla, and The Wine Shack’s own Puffin wine label.
From there, we will take a short stroll over to Pilot House Distilling (224 N Hemlock St.) where participants can enjoy mini flights or mini cocktails ranging from approximately $15 to $25. Their tasting room offers a fun and educational experience featuring award winning spirits crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Guests can sample unique spirits, sip handcrafted cocktails, and learn more about the distilling process from their knowledgeable team.
Travel by bike or on foot, with all locations within a short and easy walk or ride. There is no charge to join the tour, but all participants are responsible for purchasing their own beverage and food. This experience is limited to 15 people and is intended to be a fun, social way to wrap up the weekend and experience a slower side of Cannon Beach with fellow festival goers.
