Each year, we set aside time to recognize the businesses and individuals who show up for our community in meaningful ways, through service, leadership, and the everyday work of taking great care of people. The nominations are in, and now it’s time for Chamber members to vote.

Below are this year’s nominees, along with the kind words that your fellow members had to say about them. The nomination notes are shared as they were submitted, so you can see the impact these people and businesses are having across our community.

2025 Volunteer Organization of the Year

Haystack Rock Awareness Program
"This team protects the heart of Cannon Beach, teaching thousands of visitors how to love Haystack Rock without harming it."

"The Friends of Haystack Rock work tirelessly to promote the preservation and protection of all of the birds that inhabit Haystack Rock. They do so through a generous and patient educational program that really reaches people. Thank you FoHR!"

Cannon Beach Rural Fire Protection District
"It is a very difficult job. They are fast to the scene, friendly and helpful in tough situations, they keep the community and visitors safe.  Getting that 3AM call to clean up downed trees, helping lost hikers, and providing emergency lifesaving medical care is a hard job and they always have a great attitude."

Cannon Beach Food Pantry

2025 Tom Drumheller Excellence in Leadership

Jeanie McLaughlin, Mo's Restaurant
"She is always a delight as she visits our business to drop off coupons redeemable at Mo's for our guests to enjoy. I dont hardly pass a single day where I don't see her walking down the sidewalks into and out of downtown Cannon Beach, more often than not engaged in conversation with locals and visitors alike. She is a prominent member of our community and should be recognized as such."

"When I think of what a leader is, especially looking at the list of the past five years of Drumheller winners, I think of Theresa.
