Over twenty years ago, the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum opened its doors to the public. Today, the Museum offers interactive exhibits, rotating and traveling exhibitions, free lectures, rotating art shows, and educational field trips for elementary schools. The Museum is home to the cannon for which Cannon Beach is named and houses over 12,000 historic Cannon Beach and Arch Cape-related photos and documents in our archives. Don't miss the Native American Longhouse replica while you are here! Don't miss the annual Cannon Beach Cottage Tour, the second weekend in September! The Museum is open from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
